At a crossroad...

Over the past couple of months, I've been on a personal journey.  For once, I've started focusing on what I'm passionate about.  I've always know I've had a strong pull towards fitness, cooking and helping people but never had an avenue to do it.  I'm sure a lot of my faithful readers have noticed my posts starting to change.  My focus has become less about crafting and more about healthy recipes.  Although I love to still create, my heart is being filled in other ways.
I feel as though I'm at a crossroad.  I've given two years to this blog which I love dearly but I just don't have the time to maintain everything.  I've been toying with the idea of starting a new blog focused on maintaining a healthy family through food and exercise.  It's such a scarey feeling to let go of something you've worked so hard on but I'm sick of the nagging feeling in my stomach.  I need to listen to my inner voice.  I've never wanted to live with regrets so why should I stop now.
Have you ever hit a crossroad in your life where you feel you're being pulled in another direction?

The 4 Ingredient Cookie

I'm loving the fact that my challengers are now submitting healthy recipes they find to me.  It shows they are thinking differently about food.  Food can be healthy and taste good.  One of my challengers proved it to me again this week.
She sent me this recipe and when I saw it had only 4 ingredients all of which I had, I couldn't pass it up.  I just made it in under 20 minutes, including bake time.  These little bites of decadence are only 54 calories a piece and are awesome right out of the oven.  I can almost guarantee you could make these right now.  I did switch out the milk chocolate chips for dark ones since it's what I had on hand.
If you have a healthy recipe you'd like me to test out, either pin it to my board, send it to me via email or leave me a comment.  I'm always looking for new healthy recipes for my family and I.
My Results:
2 ripe bananas
1 c quick cook oats
1/2 c milk or white chocolate chips
1 heaping T of natural peanut butter

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Press the outside of the bananas to make more tender.
3.  Mix all ingredients well.  The bananas should be smooth like a paste.
4. Place tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

5. Cool or enjoy them warm out of the oven!
