This morning my girls, my husband and I woke up to an awesome surprise...proof the Easter Bunny had been to our house. It wasn't the eggs in the backyard or the baskets in the kitchen. It was all of the Easter Bunny's footprints on the sidewalk leading up to our front door. Our next door neighbor gave us hints about what she does the eve of Easter but I really was blown away.
She makes a huge cardboard stencil and uses flour to make the prints. When she told me about this I assumed there would be three or four but there were at least 50 of them. The prints were so vibrant the girls could see them from their windows. We are truly blessed to live next to people who still continue this tradition even though their child is grown. No 'pin' for me today. I'm going to enjoy the family time and cherish the giddy moments my girls seem to be having this morning until they come down from their sugar high.
